Dock Equipment

Dock Equipment

Dock Levelers  are devices that are used to bridge the space between the dock door and the trailer of the truck for loading and unloading. Dock levelers automatically move up and down to meet the trailer bed of the truck so that the forklifts can make a transition in and out of the trailer onto the warehouse floor. Dock Levelers automatically return to stored position when the truck leaves. 50,000 to 80,000 lbs. capacity is the average for a Dock Leveler.

Dock Equipment - Warehouse Edge Dock

Edge Docks are used when trucks are backing up into the dock. The operator simply has to pull the handle of the dock board and it will raise up to the correct height and it is then easily positioned to load and unload trucks. Edge docks minimize load spills, operator injuries and equipment damage. These docks range from 20,000 – 30,000 lbs. of capacity and are available with or without bump blocks.

Dock Equipment - Warehouse Dock Board

Dock Boards provide a safe ramp for heavy duty loading docks. These boards can be ordered in a variety of styles, sizes and capacities for your needs or forklift specifications. Lift chains don’t typically come standard with aluminum dock boards but can be ordered if needed. Steel rail boards are available in 15,000 – 40,000 lb. capacities. Portable steel dock boards are available in 10,000 – 20,000 lb. capacities.

Dock Equipment - Warehouse Yard Ramp

Dock Ramps are made of heavy duty structural steel sub-frame construction for strength and longevity. Each dock ramp is equipped with corrosion-resistant enamel paint, brightly painted safety curbs, and includes weather treated serrated grating for maximum traction. Available in standard capacities of 16,000-25,000 lbs. to handle a large broad range of loads.
